Who am I?
I am Raphaël Relat, a multilingual content designer currently living in Barcelona, Spain.
With a background in localization and an MA in Technical Translation and Web Design from the University of Boulogne sur mer in France and more than ten years of experience in the field, I am a Desktop Publishing expert specialized in localization-ready design and typesetting.
I draw my inspiration from vintage and art-déco, with an affinity for minimalistic layouts and designs. I am quite fond of shooting film — especially for travels, that's me and my trusty Nikon F5 there on the left — and experimenting with black and white. I enjoy sailing, and I have a passion for aviation, with a special interest in vintage machines such as the Consolidated PBY Catalina.
What is this about?
I created this website to showcase current projects and works. I also have a blog, for news, semi-regular photo updates... and ramblings about planes and boats of course.
You may consult my albums and designs for samples of my work in a variety of categories, and the services page for more details about my services and rates.
Of course, you can also contact me directly.
