I recently became aware that the name freylia can now be found in several online communities around the web.
Freylia Studios opened as freylia.net in August 2003. Derived from the Nordic deity Freya, the name was very unique at the time, being that of a fictional spaceship I created for a science-fiction story, that I adapted to a campaign for the game System Shock 2. freylia.net gradually became a repository of System Shock and Looking Glass Studios memorabilia, then evolved over time into a more personal portfolio and blog, to what it is today. While I do maintain an online presence and follow several forums, this website and Freylia Studios as a whole, are not associated in any way with members of online communities who have taken freylia as username or character name (such as online MUDs or Reddit).
